Our purpose
UNETO Organization's International Accrediting Commission (UNETO.ORG) exists to assure the quality and assist in the improvement of the institution or program we accredit, preschool through postsecondary–within our shared Biblical distinctives by establishing an organizational witness to their credibility of performance and integrity.
We are governed by a Board of Directors. They set accreditation standards, monitor compliance, and award accreditation certificates. Accreditation certificates are awarded only upon recommendation by the Board of Commissioners at UNETO.ORG. On site visits to applicant institutions can be completed by UNETO representatives to gather data for the Board of Commissioners.
Recommendations are then made to the UNETO Executive Board of Directors for a final decision.

Our philosophy
UNETO Organization's International Accrediting Commission (UNETO.ORG) is a professionally recognized, non-profit Christian educational organization whose philosophy is to demonstrate accountability to the consuming public for education obtained in non-traditional educational institutions. This accountability is demonstrated by institutions that are accredited by UNETO, having documented evidence of compliance with UNETO standards of structure and governance, material resources, policies, faculty and curriculum.
Our mission
- To provide a mechanism whereby Christian educational institutions demonstrate that they meet at least acceptable standards of performance.
- To provide consultation services that enable educational institutions to meet acceptable standards of performance.
- To provide the consuming public with the current status of institutions which have applied to UNETO for accreditation.
- To provide a centralized information and referral source for issues that concern accredited institutions and non-traditional students.
- To disseminate information about non-traditional educational options to the general public.
- To promote academic excellence and accountability.
